Time to get out and enjoy the great outdoors!
For those aren't sure what a fitness bootcamp is, it's a type of group physical training program that involves a wide variety of interval/circuit training over a 1 hour period, designed to build strength and fitness.
I include in the circuits the use of dumbbells, resistance bands, medicine balls, and use our own body weight to build strength. We also do plyometrics, cardio, compound exercises, and much more to keep our body challenged.
The beauty of bootcamps are that almost all the movements we do are movements we make everyday. Squats for sitting, step ups for climbing stairs, and so on, this is referred to as functional fitness.
You don't have to have any fitness experience. If you just want to be able to carry more groceries from your car to the house or walk up a flight of stairs without being fatigue, bootcamp will help you achieve those goals.
If you're like me, gyms can be a little intimidating. With bootcamp, working out in a group is not only fun, but you build confidence and meet some fantastic new friends, who will support you every step of the way.
Benefits:
- Weight Loss
- Increased Energy
- Strength
- Endurance
- Make New Friends

“During a boot camp workout, you can burn up to 600 calories per hour, which is obviously going to help with weight loss. But in addition to a great cardiovascular workout, you are also getting the muscular fitness benefit from exercises such as push-ups, squats and lunges that you wouldn’t get from a typical aerobic exercise.”
